「2024エディション」は、マルス津貫蒸溜所で蒸留されたモルト原酒のみを使用し、
バーボンバレル、シェリーカスクなど、異なる個性を持つ様々な樽で熟成された原酒を、
ブレンダーが丹念にヴァッティング（ブレンド）して仕上げた一本です。
特に、バーボンバレルやシェリーカスクを主体とすることで、
リッチな甘さと複雑な味わいのバランスを追求しています。

やわらかく広がる芳醇な香りと、コク深く厚みのある味わいが特徴です。
色 (Color) 綺麗な琥珀色。
シェリーカスク由来と思われるわずかな赤みを帯びています。
香り (Nose) ふわりと立ち上る甘く芳醇な香り。
バーボン樽由来のバニラの香りに、シェリー樽由来のレーズンやドライフルーツのような熟した甘さが
はっきりと感じられます。
ナッツや焼き菓子のような香ばしいニュアンスも交錯します。
味わい (Taste) 口に含むと、しっかりとしたコクと厚みが広がります。
樽由来のリッチな甘みが主体で、クリーミーさや熟したプラムのようなフルーティーさを伴います。
わずかなスパイシーな刺激が心地よいアクセントとなります。
余韻 (Finish) 甘く温かな香りが長く持続しつつも、後味はすっきりとキレが良く、

マルス津貫蒸溜所で造られています。
盆地特有の寒暖差: 津貫は盆地特有の気候で、昼夜の寒暖差が大きいことが、
ウイスキーの熟成を促す上で重要な要素となっています。
良質な水 蔵多山（くらたやま）山系から湧き出る清冽な良質な水に恵まれ、
ウイスキー造りに理想的な環境を備えています。
製造コンセプト 津貫の風土が育む原酒の個性を活かし、その年の個性を表現するために
毎年リリースされる限定シングルモルトです。

The ‘2024 Edition’ is a single malt whisky crafted exclusively from malt spirits distilled at the Mars Tsunuki Distillery.
It is meticulously vatted (blended) by our master blender, combining spirits matured in a variety of casks – including bourbon barrels and sherry casks – each imparting distinct character.
By primarily utilising bourbon barrels and sherry casks,
it pursues a balance of rich sweetness and complex flavour.

Despite its high alcohol content (50%), the rich flavour, enveloped in a gentle character,
truly embodies the distinct personality forged by the Tsunuki terroir.
It is characterised by a softly unfolding, rich aroma and a deep, full-bodied flavour.
Colour: A beautiful amber hue.
It exhibits a slight reddish tinge, likely derived from the sherry casks.
Nose: A sweet, rich aroma gently rises.
Distinctly recognisable are the vanilla notes from the bourbon casks, alongside the ripe sweetness of raisins and dried fruits from the sherry casks.
Intermingled are nutty and baked biscuit-like, toasty nuances.
Taste: Upon tasting, a substantial richness and depth unfolds.
The dominant note is a rich sweetness from the cask, accompanied by creaminess and a fruity character reminiscent of ripe plums.
A subtle spicy tingle provides a pleasant accent.
Finish: A sweet, warm aroma lingers long, yet the aftertaste is clean and crisp,
with a delicate astringency that brings the whole profile together.
Mars Tsunuki Distillery and Terroir
‘Single Malt Tsunuki’ is crafted at the Mars Tsunuki Distillery, nestled in the lush mountains of southwestern Kagoshima Prefecture's Satsuma Peninsula.
Basin-specific temperature variation: Tsukuni's basin climate, characterised by significant day-night temperature fluctuations,
is a crucial factor in promoting whisky maturation.
Fine water: Blessed with pure, high-quality water springing from the Kuratayama mountain range,
it provides an ideal environment for whisky production.
Production Concept: A limited-edition single malt released annually to express the character of each year's vintage,
drawing upon the unique terroir of Tsukuni to showcase the individuality of the base spirit.
