Leveraging insights and techniques honed through whisky production, it is a special plum wine matured at the Yamazaki Distillery, a renowned Japanese whisky production site. Released annually in limited quantities, it is characterised by being finished according to each year's blending theme.

Characteristics of the 2024 Edition
The 2024 edition employs a blend that increases the proportion of malt whisky base spirit, using a long-aged plum wine base spirit as its foundation. This enhances the mature plum wine's gentle acidity and sweetness, while the whisky-derived fragrant vanilla notes and cocoa-like flavours become more pronounced, evolving into a rich and luxurious taste.


This plum wine is a special reserve from the Yamazaki Distillery.
It is matured in specially prepared, ex-whisky casks – casks previously used for ageing Suntory whisky – specifically selected for the storage and maturation of plum wine. This creates a unique flavour profile where the elegant cask notes from the whisky casks blend with the refreshing character of the plums and complex aged aromas.

Extra Blend
This edition is blended by adding malt whisky, matured for an extended period at the Yamazaki Distillery, and grain whisky to impart depth of flavour to the base plum wine.
